Modern Hippies

Focusing too much on your future only keeps you from appreciating where you are

Have you been spending too much time exploring other places, other faces, and other options? Stop for a while today and ask yourself just what is so wrong with where you are now, who you are with now, and what you are doing now? The answer might surprise you. Sometimes, focusing too much on your next steps in life only keeps you from appreciating where you are in the moment. Being content is not a sign of having no ambition. It's a sign that you are wise and happy

That was today's horoscope. I think the reason time flies is because we are always looking ahead. Planning for tomorrow before living for today. This is why I heart the night-time chilling sessions with daddy and rox. For a few hours, it doesn't matter how well we're doing in school, or what out parents will say. It's okay to be silly, to not think, to feel as though we can do anything or be anyone. The last one was funny, we sat in the carpark, with bundaberg and chocolate, smoking and watching the lights from downtown east. Modern hippies.
